A Long-Term Partnership Built on Trust
Connick Tree Care has enjoyed a successful, long-term partnership with Guinness Partnership (Guiness) since 2019. Paul Wolstencroft, Estates Contract Team Manager, has been our principal contact at Guinness and we’ve forged an excellent working relationship with him. We don’t have details on number of trees, just property locations; contract value is £75k pa, we’ve been delivering on our KPIs, and no emergency action has been required.

Scope of Works and Service Objectives
Our remit is to provide a high quality, reactive and planned arboricultural maintenance service, including 24-hour emergency callout. This service was required to mitigate any Health & Safety risk to persons or property and to manage Guinness’ tree stock to enhance the amenity value for all customers. The service delivery area includes individual property gardens and larger communal housing scheme areas across the South.
Minimising Disruption, Maximising Quality
We’ve been delivering a high-specification arboricultural service, along with the tree management plan, providing traffic planning and traffic management provision to minimise disruption to the community area, and the protection of the fabric of housing stock and areas effected by our operational activity.
Sustainability and Added Value
Regarding added value and sustainability, we’ve supported a variety of initiatives including donating woodchip, offering training to liaison officers, running Q&A sessions on Microsoft Teams, and our overall sustainability strategy that includes the use of electric vehicles and equipment, biomass fuel production, and efficient route planning.
Customer Service and Continuous Improvement
Customer complaints are expected by our colleagues, and considerable training and focus on continuous improvement ensures everyone follows our customer service protocol. We have a Complaints Procedure and a Customer Satisfaction Feedback survey that ensures we capture, listen, and respond in a professional and timely manner. We will share details at contract meetings.
Expert Knowledge and Support
A major benefit of working with Connick Tree Care is our provision of on-demand, detailed advice and knowledge to Guinness’ authorised officers. This includes technical and legal enquiries, pruning advice, dealing with pests and diseases, all provided through verbal and written communications.
