Surrey County Council

Connick Tree Care has worked with Local Authorities (LA’s) since founded in 1985.

We cover all of an Local Authorities’s tree maintenance or surveying requirements either under a term contract or on an ad-hoc basis.

So through a recent competitive tendering exercise, we were delighted to retain a place on the framework contract with Surrey County Council.
Surrey County Council says;

“Surrey Highways, has worked with Connick Tree Care for at least the past decade in delivering Arboriculture services through competitive tender, in response to risk from trees around our Highway network.

Work for Surrey Highways operates on a commercial scale and, due to ongoing requirements of providing a safe highway, must be delivered with all the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act, along with safe guarding and signing according to the manual of Well Maintained Highways.”

The consultancy department has just completed a large surveying project for housing association, Saxon Weald who said,

“Connick operate an effective methodology in their surveying process that produces comprehensive and valuable data, guiding future surveys and planned tree works.”

The contract was completed on time to the delight of the client.

Alongside the regular work of health and safety surveys and BS5837 development reports for commercial and private clients, the consultancy department are due to commence two more large contracts.

The first for East Sussex County Council surveying all their urban area tree stock, the second a new contract for another large Housing Association this time in Essex.

Moat Housing Association

A safe pair of hands.

Having worked with multiple Housing Associations over the years, we have a detailed understanding of their tree maintenance requirements in terms of quality, service delivery and best value.

This gave an advantage and peace of mind to Moat Housing Association to award Connick Tree Care with a contract to survey and maintain their tree stock on sites throughout Essex.
