Reigate hometown of Connick Tree Care
Reigate, the hometown of Connick Tree Care, is just 30 minutes from London by train, yet is situated in the most wooded county (Surrey) in the UK.
Connick Tree Care’s Head Office is opposite Earlswood Lakes on Earlswood Common, which is one of the largest continuous public open spaces in the borough of Reigate and Banstead.
Visitors can enjoy the Bird Box Trail and boating on the lake at weekends and school holidays.
Reigate boasts a magnificent history, which can be told through some of the historic buildings in our picturesque market town.
Although situated right in the centre of the town, Reigate Castle grounds is a secret that many residents are not aware of, as it’s hidden from sight and accessed by foot.
In 1777 a mock medieval gateway was built over the ruins of the original castle and the Reigate Castle Tunnel constructed in 1823, runs under the grounds of Reigate Castle and is believed to be Europe’s first road and pedestrianised tunnel.
The Priory, which dates back to 1235, was bought in 1945 by Reigate Borough Council. The main building and its immediate grounds are home to Reigate Priory School. The wider Priory Park is a hive of activity every day to visitors enjoying the open space, woods, birds on the pond, children’s adventure play park, tennis courts and skate park.
Supporting the Community in Reigate
Not only do we take great pride in maintaining and preserving trees within our hometown (and far beyond), we also do much to support the local community. For example:
- We created a soft landing for the YMCA Children’s park.
- We sponsored the Reigate & Banstead Sports Awards.
We are enormously lucky to be a local business supported by a very proactive borough council. It was our pleasure to celebrate alongside other successful local businesses as we celebrated our Customer Service Award win at the Reigate & Banstead Business Awards.
So, you can rest assured that you will receive outstanding service
