We’ve been back to Osborne House on the Isle of Wight as part of the ongoing Arboricultural Contract for English Heritage.
One of our tasks on this visit was the safeguarding of a high amenity pine tree. The pine required some remedial bracing work in order to avoid structural failure.
A cobra bracing system was installed to preserve the full crown of this large pine tree. The cobra brace is designed to be non-invasive and flexible so that it does not hinder the tree’s natural movement.
Here you can see Cameron having installed the braces with the magnificent Osborne House in the background.
